STREET VOICES – Taking Oral Health to the Streets

Campaign

Location: Secretariat, Wuse, Kaura, and Kuchingoro
Target Audience: Commuters, school communities, market-goers, and the general public

What happens when oral health meets real people in real spaces?
Street Voices was our bold answer to bridging the oral health information gap by stepping out of clinics and into the heart of everyday life. From bustling markets to school gates and transit terminals, our team took to the streets to spark conversations, challenge myths, and empower people through one-on-one interactions.

Over the course of the program, we engaged 70 diverse participants across multiple communities—each conversation a window into real oral health concerns, curiosity, and the thirst for knowledge.

Through candid street interviews, impromptu Q&A sessions, and open community dialogue, we didn’t just raise awareness—we ignited a movement. Participants shared personal stories, asked questions they'd never dared to in formal settings, and left with not only answers, but actionable oral health tips they could share with others.

Impact:

  • Raised awareness among marginalized and underserved populations
  • Sparked a ripple effect of curiosity—many participants expressed a strong desire to learn more
  • Strengthened community trust and fostered a culture of preventive oral care

Street Voices redefined what community oral health engagement can look like—dynamic, inclusive, and right where the people are.
