Smile Contest- Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences, Thiruvalla, Kerala, India

A smile contest competition was organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry, Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences, Thiruvalla, Kerala, India on 20th March 2025. On the eve of World Oral Health Day the smile contest was conducted in 3 categories- Patient category, Staff category and Students category at the Smile Booth. The contest was attended by about 300 participants. 

The winners were selected by selected jury members. Prize included cash prize of Rs 1200 for the first prize winner, Rs 1000 for the second prize winner, Rs 800 for the third prize winners in all the 3 categories. Prize distribution ceremony was conducted on 27th March and all the winners were awarded the cash prize. The contest was conducted to promote the importance of good oral health for a good smile.
