NOHP Puducherry- WOHD celebration- Dental awareness & Screening camp for School Students @Yanam

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day, an Oral Health Education Camp was conducted at Mettakur High School, Yanam.

Program Highlights:

• Brushing Techniques Demonstration:
-Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using models to educate students about maintaining good oral hygiene.

• Beneficiaries:
-Over 200 members including students from classes 6, 7, 8, and 9, along with teachers and staff, benefited from the camp.

• Clinical Services Provided in this camp:
-Fluoride Applications – To strengthen teeth and prevent cavities.
-Restorations– To treat dental issues and improve oral health.

The camp aimed to raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and equip students with the knowledge and practices needed to maintain healthy teeth and gums. The session was well-received, with active participation from both students and staff.
