A School Dental Health Program was successfully conducted for PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Pondicherry - Chinnakalapet on 4/2/2025 to promote oral hygiene awareness among students and staff.
Programme highlights:
1. Oral Health Awareness: Interactive sessions were conducted for students of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th standards to educate them on proper oral hygiene and dental care.
2. Brushing Technique Demonstration: Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models to encourage correct brushing habits.
3. Oral Screening: A total of 87 students underwent oral health screening for early detection of dental issues.
4. Beneficiaries: Nearly 91 students and 5 teaching staff participated and benefited from the program.
This initiative played a crucial role in improving dental health awareness and promoting preventive care among students and teachers.
