NOHP Puducherry- Oral Health awareness talk & screening camp in Rural Health and Wellness centre- Mahe

An Oral Health Education Talk and Screening was successfully conducted at HWC Chalakkara on 27th March 2025 as part of the World Oral Health Day (WOHD) celebrations. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of oral health and to promote better oral hygiene practices among the community.

Approximately 25 people attended the session and benefited from the expert guidance and screening provided. The participants were educated on proper oral hygiene techniques, the importance of regular dental check-ups, and how to prevent common dental issues such as cavities and gum disease.

The screening helped identify oral health concerns, and appropriate advice and referrals were given where necessary. The event was well-received by the attendees, contributing to increased awareness and motivation to maintain good oral health.
