NOHP Puducherry- Oral Health Awareness Programme at State Level Science Exhibition- 6days campaign

Oral Health Awareness Program conducted during the Regional & State Level Science Exhibition at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Embalam, from January 2nd to January 7th,2025.

Key Activities:
    1.    Health Awareness Session:
    •    Dental surgeons educated students and teachers on Oral Health and the Harmful Effects of Tobacco, highlighting its impact on children and society.
    2.    Brushing Technique Demonstration:
    •    Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models and banners to ensure students learn effective oral hygiene habits.
    3.    Educational Materials Distribution:
    •    Posters with Oral Health Tips and “Choose Life, Not Tobacco” messages were shared.
    •    Pamphlets were distributed to school representatives for wider awareness.
    4.    Oral Health Quiz & Prize Distribution:
    •    A quiz was conducted to reinforce learning.
    •    Prizes were awarded to winners as motivation for maintaining good oral health.

This initiative played a vital role in promoting oral hygiene, preventing tobacco use, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices among school children and teachers.
