NOHP Puducherry Dental Screening and Awreness camp on the event of World Oral Health Day

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day on 12th March 2025, an Oral Health Education Camp was successfully conducted at STPP Government College, Yanam.

Program Highlights:
1. Brushing Techniques Demonstration:
• Brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models to educate students on proper oral hygiene practices.
2. Oral Hygiene Awareness Talk:
• A comprehensive talk was delivered on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.
• The talk also covered the adverse effects of tobacco use on health and its impact on society.
3. Oral Screening:
• An oral health screening session was conducted for the students to identify potential dental issues and provide recommendations for further care.

Impact:
• Beneficiaries: Over 200 students attended and benefited from the program.
• Staff Participation: A team of 10 staff members actively supported the event, ensuring its smooth execution.

The program was well-received by the students and staff, enhancing awareness about oral health and encouraging positive dental care habits among the participants.
