The Association Dentistry of Primary Health Care is traditionally joining World Oral Health Day in 2024. We have officially entered the second decade of dedicated efforts in promoting WOHD alongside FDI. This year's message ’A Happy Mouth is... A Happy Body’ has deepened our vision of "Bright smile in youth - healthy teeth in old age". Pursuing our mission, we improve our children's oral health through music, entertainment, and laughter, thus achieving the goal we set back in 2006. Since 2013, efforts have been focused on promoting and preventing oral health, based on the creativity of children and youth and their timely health education.
This year's final event will be held at the Children's Cultural Centre in Niš. This cultural and educational institution educates, nurtures, socialises, and enhances the creative abilities of children aged 3 to 20 during their free time. From October 1, 2023, to date, health teams in cooperation with the institution’s educational staff have held a series of diverse workshops. At this year's final event, children and youth will present their artistic, literary, musical, acting, and sports achievements aligning with the message ’A Happy Mouth is... A Happy Body’.
