NOHP Puducherry World Oral Health Day celebrations in collabration with Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Science Gorimedu

Month-long oral health awareness campaign January - April 2026  was carried out in collaboration with *Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Gorimedu,* Puducherry. Oral health pledges were taken by the general public at OPDs, and engaging activities like group drawing sessions were conducted for children. Awareness programs and pledge activities were also organized at _satellite_ dental clinics across Puducherry.
The campaign actively utilized social media to promote the theme “ _Happy Mouth is a Happy Life”_ of World Oral Health Day. Multiple school dental health programs, awareness visits, screening, and treatment camps were conducted. Workshops were attended at the Education Department, and an integrated health camp( IHC)  was organized at Mettupalayam PHC. Overall, nearly *5,000* individuals benefited from these initiatives.
