On 13/02/2026, an oral health screening camp was conducted for 5th standard students at GLPS, Parakkal, located in Mahe. The screening aimed to assess the dental health status of schoolchildren and to identify common oral problems at an early stage. A total of 25 students were examined, including 10 boys and 15 girls. During the screening, several students were found to have dental issues such as tooth decay, plaque accumulation, and poor oral hygiene. These students were advised on proper brushing techniques, healthy dietary habits, and the importance of maintaining oral cleanliness. Those requiring further care were referred to CHC Palloor for detailed evaluation and treatment. The program helped create awareness among children about oral hygiene and emphasized the need for regular dental check-ups to prevent future complications.
