NOHP Puducherry - Oral screening and treatment camp program conducted at Community hall,Nalavadu

On the occasion of *World Oral Health Day* and the *World TB Day 100 Days Campaign,* a special oral screening and treatment camp was successfully conducted for the general public at the Community Hall, *Nallavadu* , in collaboration with the NSS team of *RR University,* Murungapakkam Campus on 30/03/2026.
 The program aimed to promote awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and its connection to overall health, especially in relation to tuberculosis.
An informative oral health awareness session was delivered, emphasizing proper brushing techniques, regular dental check-ups, and preventive care. In addition, an anti-tobacco awareness program highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco use on oral and general health. IEC posters and _pamphlets_ were distributed to reinforce key messages among the participants.Oral Health _Pledge_ taken 
Comprehensive dental screening and basic treatment services were provided to attendees. The camp witnessed active participation, and nearly *95* individuals benefited from the services and health education provided.
