NOHP Puducherry - Oral screening and treatment camp at AAM Sub Health Centre - Suthukeny

An oral screening and treatment camp was conducted at *AAM - SHC - Suthukeny* on *13-02-2026* to promote oral health awareness and provide basic dental care services to the public. 
        During the camp, participants were educated about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and the need for early treatment of dental problems. Proper tooth brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models to help people understand the correct method of brushing and maintaining oral cleanliness. 
   The team also explained the causes and prevention of common oral diseases such as dental caries, gum diseases, and oral infections. Basic dental treatments and screenings were carried out for the attendees. People were encouraged to visit dental clinics regularly for check-ups and to avoid harmful habits affecting oral health. The camp received a good response from the community, and nearly *47* beneficiaries received screening, treatment, and oral health education through this program.
