An Oral Health Awareness Camp was conducted for the III Year Nursing students of PIMS Nursing College at PHC Kalapet on 19/2/2026 . The session included a live demonstration of proper brushing techniques and detailed oral hygiene instructions.
A brief introduction was given about the various dental treatments available at the Primary Health Centre (PHC). Students were educated about the harmful effects of tobacco and its impact on oral and general health.
Overall, awareness was successfully created among the nursing students regarding the importance of oral hygiene and tobacco cessation.
A total of 12 students participated and benefited from the programme.
