Group Tooth Brushing ("Lavatón")

and 20 dentists from across the country joined in visiting schools to carry the message of World Oral Health Day 2024 and deliver oral care kits to students. The professionals gave talks, carried out playful activities and interacted with the children. As part of the activity, the children participated in a group brushing of their teeth to put into practice the correct brushing techniques. About 1500 children, between 6 months and 12 years old. In Costa Rica, this activity is called "Lavatón".
