Dental Check-up and Oral Health Awareness among schools of Amber block, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India - NIMS Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day 2024 i.e 20 March,2024, NIMS Dental College & Hospital conducted a Situational Assessment of these schools were done with the help of checklist of Health Promoting Schools, an oral health awareness and preventive programme for school students in Amber block, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The school students were provided with basic oral health education through demonstrations of skit, models, health education kits and posters followed by oral screening of the students using WHO proforma of children 2013. The children of these schools were benefitted with preventive procedures like pit and fissure sealants and fluoride application. Oral health awareness was assessed using pre and post questionnaire.

"Sparkling Smiles, Healthy Vibes" #OralCareMagic - Social Media Campaign drive was also conducted on various social media platforms of NIMS University to create awareness about oral health for the public from 13th March, 2024 to 20th March,2024.
