Adoption of School for Oral Health Initiative by Council On Dental Health, Indian Dental Association Kochi Branch.
As part of our commitment to promoting preventive oral healthcare, St. Louis HS School, Mundamveli has been adopted under our Oral Health Promotion Program for the period from 20/03/2026 to 01/08/2026. This initiative aims to create sustained awareness and encourage healthy oral hygiene practices among students, teachers, and parents.
The following activities will be conducted as part of this program:
• Oral Health Education Sessions for students
• Tooth Brushing Demonstrations to instill proper techniques
• Regular Dental Screening Camps for early detection and intervention
• Teacher Orientation Programs to empower educators in promoting oral health
• Parent Awareness Initiatives to extend oral care practices at home
• Display of IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials within the school premises
Through these structured and continuous efforts, we aim to build a strong foundation for lifelong oral health and well-being among the school community.
