Content Description: In order to respond to the call of the World Dental Union, thoroughly implement the guidelines and policies of Healthy China Action (2019-2030) and improve the oral health literacy of the public, the Stomatological Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University launched the "320 Oral Health Publicity Week Series".
On the same day in World Oral Health Day, the oral science education base of Xi 'an Jiaotong University Stomatological Hospital was officially opened. The oral science education base of Xi 'an Jiaotong University Stomatological Hospital is the largest oral health science education venue in China at present. The whole museum takes the IP theme image of "Tooth Little Fighter" as the main line, skillfully integrates the regional cultural elements with Xi 'an characteristics, and combines digital technology to build an interactive experience to realize system prevention, active research and development, and platform construction. On the day of the activity, the opening ceremony of the popular science base was held, and more than 100 students, patients and their families came to visit. Through the rich digital display and vivid interactive facilities in the venue, they learned oral health knowledge in an immersive way, gained a more intuitive and profound understanding of the prevention and harm of oral diseases, and enhanced their awareness of protecting oral health in a relaxed atmosphere.
During the 320th Oral Health Publicity Week of Tooth figurines, the Stomatological Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University launched the "Oral Health Classroom of Tooth figurines", and went into schools and communities to give a series of popular science lectures, thus putting the concept of "oral health, physical and mental health" advocated by the World Dental Union into practice. In school, children were given interesting and vivid popular science through the three-dimensional linkage mode of popular science lecture+immersion experience+personality guidance. At the scene of popular science lecture, a team of doctors with small teeth figurines dismantled the principle of tooth protection in a simple way by role-playing, and demonstrated the effect of fluoride on dental caries prevention through small experiments. Children also tried how to prevent dental caries with fluoride under professional guidance. Through personal experience, children had a more intuitive understanding of oral health.
