School of Dentistry New Giza University: Dental Convoy (El Alsson School Visit)
Dental Convoy for El Alsson School Students, Dental Screening & Awareness Sessions.
The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee of New Giza University’s Dental School organized a dental convoy and sessions to raise awareness through a team of professors, doctors and teaching assistants, with dental interns, by empowering the students of El Alson British & American International School teachers, and caregivers with proper oral hygiene instructions, interactive coloring papers and brushing schedules, and different handouts. Oral screening was performed as well for the children, their teachers and caregivers. Informative awareness sessions are to be carried out for all the caregivers and staff regarding oral health and hygiene awareness and the challenges and modifications that meet children with special needs and their caregivers. Handing out of giveaways of Signal toothpaste and toothbrushes is to be carried out for all the caregivers, teachers and students.
