Oral health awareness and dental checkup for high school students

High school students are invited to a comprehensive oral health event designed to educate and inspire good dental hygiene practices. This event, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Dental Professionals Association (EDPA) and Unilever's Signal brand, focuses on raising awareness about the importance of oral health and proper dental care. The event begins with a welcoming speech and from EDPA delegate and speech from  the Signal brand delegate. Students will then learn about proper brushing techniques and dental health from a representative of the EDPA, who will provide valuable insights into maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

A key feature of the event is the on-site dental check-up service, where up to 150 students will receive free dental check-ups conducted by professionals from the EDPA. Those who participate in the check-up will be awarded free oral hygiene products as an incentive to continue practicing good oral hygiene. Simultaneously, the  stage will host engaging activities  further emphasizing the importance of oral health.

The event will conclude with a closing speech by the School Director, followed by a photo program with cutouts and photo booths, where students can capture memorable moments with influencers. This event is a fantastic opportunity for high school students to learn, engage, and commit to better oral health practices.
