NOHP puducherry - Recognition of Excellence: Dr. S. Ramasubramanian Receives Oral Health Ambassador Award 2026

As a special event of World Oral Health Day Celebration 2026, the Oral Health Ambassador Award has been proposed for Dr. S. Ramasubramanian, Chief Dental Surgeon (SAG) at Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute. This recognition honors his outstanding contributions to the field of oral health, particularly his leadership, dedication, and commitment to improving community dental care. Through his exemplary service, he has played a vital role in strengthening oral health programs, promoting preventive care, and mentoring healthcare professionals. The award acknowledges his continuous efforts in advancing oral health awareness and delivering quality dental services to the public. The award and the certificate were given by Dr. S.Sevvel, Director Health as part of the Valedictory ceremony of the World Oral Health Month campaign at NHM Conference Hall,  Puducherry on 20th March.  (20th March - 20th April 2026). Nearly 80 participated.
