A comprehensive four month School Dental Health and Tobacco Awareness Campaign was conducted by CHC Manadipet to educate students on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and the harmful effects of tobacco use. The session included interactive demonstrations on proper brushing techniques, awareness about common dental problems, and preventive measures. Special emphasis was given to the dangers of tobacco consumption, highlighting its link to oral diseases, including oral cancer. Students actively participated and were encouraged to adopt healthy habits for a brighter, disease-free future.
Screening was done to all the students and students requiring treatments were referred to CHC Manadipet by the dentist.
