NOHP Puducherry - Nurturing the tiny tots - Creating healthy smiles

School visit

National Oral health Programme in Karaikal district conducted a school dental visit by the NOHP dental surgeon  working in the Community health centre Thirunallar to the Government primary school, Keezhakasakudi.

Nurturing primary school kids with oral health education is essential for establishing lifelong habits that contribute to their overall well being. At this formative phase of life, children are highly receptive to learning, making it the perfect opportunity this camp aimed at teaching  them about  importance of brushing their teeth, and eating balanced diet. Instilling these habits early on not only improves their oral health but also sets the foundation for a generation that values preventive care, reducing the risk of dental issues later in life.

Dental screening was also done as a part of this camp and tooth pastes were distributed to the school children. 93 students benefited from this camp.
