NOHP Puducherry - MGMCRI Observes World Oral Health Day with Extensive Outreach and Awareness Campaign

As part of the World Oral Health Day celebrations, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Kirumampakkam  actively conducted a series of awareness and outreach activities. These included tobacco awareness programs, an outreach dental camp at St. Annie’s School, Kattukuppam, and a poster competition based on the theme of oral health and tobacco . Public awareness sessions were organized at Bahour village, RHTC Aranganur , and UHTC Sami Pillai Thottam. Additionally, training programs on tobacco and oral health were conducted for BSc Nursing and MBBS students at HWC Karikalampakkam. Through these combined efforts, the campaign successfully reached and benefited nearly 2,500 individuals, promoting healthier lifestyles and improved oral hygiene practices.
