Mexican Students for Healthy Smiles - PSBP

As part of the Preschool Oral Health Program (PSBP) led by the Mexican Dental Association, in collaboration with the Colegio de Dentistas de Hermosillo, our team conducted a meaningful visit to Federico Sotelo Kindergarten. During this outreach, we provided educational sessions to 60 children, focusing on the importance of a balanced diet, proper toothbrushing techniques, and the development of healthy oral habits from an early age. The activities were designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, allowing the children to actively participate and learn in a fun environment. A special highlight of the visit was the appearance of Toothie the Beaver, who interacted with the children and reinforced key messages about oral hygiene. Additionally, the children completed coloring activity sheets, helping to strengthen their understanding while encouraging creativity. This initiative reflects our commitment to preventive dentistry and community engagement, fostering positive habits that can last a lifetime.
