World Oral Health Day

Celebrating the World Oral Health Day,  Ministry of Health of Republic of Croatia and Croatian Institute of Public Health organised school visit, aiming the importance of oral health in children with special needs considering the minor importance given to oral health in relation to existing health problems.

The aims of the visit were to:

1. Educate the children with special needs about the importance of oral health and demonstrate oral hygiene practices.
2. Raise awareness about the oral hygiene as the most important factor in the occurrence of oral diseases such as caries and parodontitis in children with special needs.
