Oral Health Awareness to Pregnant Women and All In Patients- Luangwa District Hospital

Oral health education will be disseminated to all ante- Natal mothers as part of the integration of health messages given to pregnant women. They will be educated on food oral hygiene practices, pregnancy gingivitis and abnormalities that can occur at child birth. For those needing urgent care, free dental check up and treatment will be offered.

All admitted patients at the hospital will be given Information Education materials, with all children below the age of 12 years being given free toothbrush and toothpaste, which are a complementary package donated by Colgate Zambia.
