For international oral health day empowermefirst.college and empowermefirst Zimbabwe are creating community awareness by teaching our students about the effects of cigarettes, alcohol and drugs on oral health.
Dr Shegufta Mohammad, dedicated volunteer of empowermefirst.college, has created a learning video on the effects of smoking, alcohol and drugs on oral health.
After having watched the video, the students will meet with Dr Shegufta Mohammad for a webinar on 13 March 2023 where they discuss their reactions and can ask her questions. We will share a video of the webinar shortly after.
Then the students are asked to share their knowledge with their friends and families and record their discussions by creating short videos or podcasts. We will share their work on and around 20 March 2023, the International Oral Health Day.
